Waterford Senior Living's apartments are attractive, spacious and airy. They were designed to provide maximum safety, comfort, convenience and privacy. All have handicap accessible doorways and showers; ample closets, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Each bathroom has a mirrored vanity with ample drawer space, wheelchair accessible commode, and a walk-in shower with safety grab rails. For additional safety, every resident is provided a personal call pendant so help is always within reach; the bathroom and bedroom are also equipped with pull cords to summon help should it be necessary.
Each apartment has a lock on the door and a peephole for extra safety. The residents are given a mailbox key to access their personal mailbox that is located inside the building by the front entrance.
You are welcome to furnish the apartment with your furniture, belongings and decorate to your liking. Residents are able to bring some small appliances for their kitchenette and most assistance devices can be installed in the bathrooms (handrails, seat riser, etc).
Waterford Senior Living provides all repairs and apartment maintenance needed.
Each week the resident's bed linens, towels and washcloths are washed. The bed is remade and towels are folded and put away.
Every other week each apartment is thoroughly cleaned. The opposite week the apartment is vacuumed, bathroom is cleaned and any light housekeeping duties are completed. Daily housekeeping service includes bed making, trash removal and light housekeeping chores, which are available with the customized service plan.
All utilities (heating, cooling, electric, water) and extended basic cable are included in rent. There are phone hookups in each apartment's living room and bedroom. The only extra utility cost to the resident is phone service.
There is a heating and cooling unit located in the living room of each apartment that the resident can control and keep their apartment at the temperature they desire.
